Due to an ankle injury, Erling Haaland has withdrawn from the Norway team that was scheduled to play Scotland on Sunday.
The forward played through to the conclusion of Thursday's 2-0 friendly victory over the Faroe Islands after twisting his ankle.
This is his second ankle problem this month; on November 4, he was substituted off during halftime of the 6-1 thumping of Bournemouth, raising doubts about his availability for the big match against the Reds.
Ola Sand, the team physician for Norway, confirms that the problem is not serious, although "he is in so much pain," which brings relief to City.
